What is Forestry Mulching?

Forestry mulching is the most cost-effective way to clear land of vegetation. A forestry mulcher uses a rotary drum with steel teeth to shred vegetation, leaving behind only the shredded mulch, which breaks down and makes the soil richer and more fertile.

Mulching can be done with various instruments, and we use a Torrent Mulching head on our Caterpillar 306 excavator to take down and mulch trees up to 9 inches in diameter. The excavator also allows us to maneuver into small spaces, around turns, and up and down hills so we only clear the underbrush and vegetation that needs to be gone.
